Madul-Katibi Al-Adabby Institute of Qur’an Memorization and Arabic Science has turned out 62 students in memorization at the 11th Walimatul-Qur’an.
The Walimatul-Qur’an also featured Conferment of Award and Launching of Madrasah Ultra Modern Hostel of Madul-Katibi Al-Adabby Institute held behind Kwara State House of Assembly, Ilorin.
In his Lecture, Ilorin-based Islamic Cleric, Imam Musa Atere charged the graduands to always reflect on the teachings of Qur’an and avoid acts that could pollute what they have learnt.
Imam Atere urged the young Qur’an memorizers to value their parents and guardians who have bequeathed sound Islamic knowledge on them.
He also counseled them to be good ambassadors of the Arabic School that tutored them on Qur’an memorization.
Presiding fundraising for the institute, Imam Atere enjoined Muslims to always spend their wherewithal in the course of Allah.
In his address of welcome, Proprietor, Madul-Katibi Al-Adabby Institute of Qur’an Memorization and Arabic Science, Dr Saheed Ahmad Katibi who chronicled the journey so far of institute encouraged the granduands on perpetual recitation of Qur’an to guarantee retention.
Dr Katibi tasked them to desist from ignoble actions that could portray their citadel of learning in a bad light and congratulated them for successful completion Qur’an.
The 11th Walimatul-Qur’an featured recitation of glorious Qur’an to the graduands by Chief of Babaode Mosque, Ilorin and presentation of certificates to the graduands.
Also, Mallam Musa Olanrewaju Alabere popularly referred to as “Olas” was bestowed with award by the institute for his generosity to Islamic education.
