Prof. Ali Ahmad Charges FG To Step Up Efforts Towards Tackling Insecurity In Kwara

Former Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Professor Ali Ahmad has charged federal government to intensify efforts towards combating the spate of insecurity in Kwara and other parts of the Country.
Professor Ahmad gave the charge during a Media Party with Guild of Digital Journalists GDJ in Ilorin.
He lamented that his visit to Woro Community for first hand information made him understood the extent of destruction and devastation.
He expressed concern that Kwara State now occupies No5 in insecurity lader in the Country in the last two years after Borno and states bedevilled with insurgency since 20 years ago.
Professor Ahmad who is a Governorship Aspirant in the forthcoming 2027 election in the state, advocated thorough investigation, detection and punishment of anyone found culpable for perpetrating crimes in the land.
He also suggested collaboration of neighbouring state in the areas of intelligence and reinforcement of all security operatives to eliminate the enemies of state
