The political tsunami in Rivers State has consumed two principal officers in the inner circle of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
They included the Secretary to the State Government, Benibo Anabraba and Chief of Staff to the Governor, Edison Ehie.
In their place, Fubara named the duo of Dagogo Wokoma as the new SSG and Sunny Ewule as the new Chief of Staff respectively.
The Governor said the appointments of the new officers are with immediate effect.
The new appointees were sworn in today at Government House, Port Harcourt.
Though no reason was advanced for the removal of the former occupants of the offices.
It was gathered that the decision was not unconnected with the terms agreed to during the recent fence mending effort of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, following sustained political tussle between Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
The fued nearly consumed the Governor with the House of Assembly commencing the process of his impeachment from office.
