Gubernatorial Aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress APC in Kwara State, Professor Wale Sulaiman has pledged free and compulsory education from primary to secondary levels when elected in 2027 general elections.
Professor Sulaiman made the pledge during a Media Parley and Iftar organized by him at his residence in Ilorin.
He described education as a veritable tool to fight poverty and promised that no child will be left out in the free quality education initiative and vowed to imbibe Late Obafemi Awolowo’s Free Education Model to propel Kwara to greatness.
The Governor Aspirant who is a Professor of Neurology recalled that he was a product of free education under late Former Governor Lateef Jakande leadership in Lagos State.
Professor Sulaiman maintained that education gave him sterling opportunities to become one of the best Neurologists globally and assured the citizens of the state adequate attention to education.
On security, the Gubernatorial Aspirant said all the 3 Senatorial Districts would be secured under his watch as the Governor of the state through inter agency collaboration and intelligence sharing as criminals terrorizing the state would be brought to their kneels.
The Gubernatorial Hopeful expressed confidence that he is the most qualified for Kwara State Governorship seat owing to his versed experiences at national and global levels.
He acknowledged the security challenges facing Nigeria, he noted that the economy is progressing in a positive direction and commended the efforts of the current governor.
He said the state requires someone who can sustain this trajectory, highlighting the importance of administrative expertise like him and asserted that he possesses the necessary experience and respect to address challenges, with a focus on job creation and education.
