The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture on Thursday toured two major factories in Guangzhou as part of efforts to strengthen industrial partnerships between Nigeria and China.

This is contained in a statement by National Public Relations Officer, Hajia Madinat Adigun-Oladotun

According to the statement, NACCIMA President, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, led the delegation to Wanli Tire Corporation Limited and Guangda Fashion World on April 30, 2026.

The industrial tour came a day after the NACCIMA Business and Investment Forum, where the association signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Guangzhou Committee.

At Wanli Tire, managers took the delegates through the company’s production processes.

Wanli, whose parent company Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holding Group Co. Ltd. is listed on the Fortune 500, is regarded as the world’s largest factory for passenger car radial tyres, with an annual capacity of 36 million units.

In his remark, Engr. Ibrahim said during a meeting with company executives thanked Nigeria’s Consul-General in Guangzhou, Amb. Mairo Musa Abbas, for facilitating the visit.

According to him, their stay in Guangzhou would not have been complete without paying a visit to this strategic facility.

Engr. Ibrahim invited Wanli to extend operations to Nigeria, noting that NACCIMA was ready to help the company navigate the Nigerian business environment.

He said Nigeria could serve as a gateway to the African market, following Wanli’s decision to open its first branch in Cambodia.

Earlier, the delegation visited Guangda Fashion World, touring sections for clothing, shoes, and leather goods stocked by prominent brands.

He said Nigeria should begin producing for Africa so other countries can buy wholesale from Nigerian markets for export.

The industrial tour was facilitated by the Consulate-General of Nigeria in Guangzhou. Amb. Abbas and her representatives joined the visits.

Other delegates on the tour included President of CONSCCIMA and Chairman, Nigeria Commodity Exchange Board, Alhaji Dalhatu Abubakar; NACCIMA China Relations Executive, Arc. Zakirudeen Oladotun; First Deputy President, Borno Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Alhaji Goni Dunoma; ILECCIMA President, Mr. Peterson Timothy; and former KWACCIMA President, Mr. Fatai Ayodimeji.

NACCIMA said the visits provided firsthand insights into advanced manufacturing processes and key supply chains, reinforcing its commitment to fostering industrial partnerships, technology transfer, and increased investment collaboration between both countries.
