Delegates of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture have made what officials described as an impressive representation of Nigeria at the 139th Canton Fair in Guangzhou.

This is contained in a statement signed by NACCIMA’s National Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Madinat Adigun-Oladotun.

According to the statement, the Canton Fair, regarded as one of the world’s largest trade shows, runs in three phases per session. The 139th session opened on April 15 and entered its third phase on May 1.

Mrs Adigun-Oladotun notNACCIMA’s delegation at the fair was led by National President, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON.

Others included China Relations Executive, Arc. Zakirudeen Oladotun; Member, China Executive Trade Group, Alhaji Goni Dunoma; National Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Madinat Adigun-Oladotun; and Special Adviser to the National President, Mr. Sulaiman Adoga.

The association’s participation in the third phase follows a Business and Investment Forum, industrial tours, and other programmes held in the past few days.

Several delegations from around the world are attending the fair, where trade activities and strategic partnerships are underway.

NACCIMA also took part in the last session, the 138th Canton Fair. Its consistent participation, the association said, reflects its commitment to international partnerships, trade promotion, and knowledge exchange for Nigeria’s development.

Delegates toured various pavilions at the fair, where they observed new technologies, products, and emerging developments. NACCIMA said the insights gained can be leveraged by the private sector to grow Nigeria’s economy and support the Federal Government’s vision of a $1 trillion economy under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The statement, issued on May 2, was signed by Mrs. Madinat Adigun-Oladotun, NACCIMA’s National Public Relations Officer.
