The union appreciated the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for listening to the yearnings of workers and taking steps towards improving their welfare and working conditions.

RATTAWU, however, appealed to the state government to ensure immediate cash backing and implementation of the approved peculiar allowance to enable affected workers begin to enjoy the benefits without unnecessary delay.

The union also called on the government to urgently facilitate the payment of the 2024 promotion benefits owed to workers, noting that prompt payment would further boost morale and productivity among civil servants in the state media sector.
