Late Professor Abdul-Ganiyu Ambali, Former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin has been described as a man of fine character, a selfless Leader and outstanding academic who contributed greatly to the development of the University.
The Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria made these assertions while commiserating with his family during a Condolence Visit.
The National Coordinator of the Group Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi said the death of Professor Ambali is a great loss to the Nation.
The Group described his humility, patriotism and service to humanity at large as highly numerous and symbolic.
It implored sympathisers to join in the Special Prayers for the repose of the soul of Late Professor Abdul-Ganiyu Ambali scheduled for his Residence along Nigerian Air Force Road, Federal Housing Estate Oloje, Ilorin on Monday 8th June, 2026 beginning at ten ‘ clock in the morning.
