IMAN Congratulates New Ilorin Chief Imam, Charges Him On Unity

Islamic Missionaries Association of Nigeria IMAN has charged newly appointed Chief Imam of Ilorin, Shaikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki to deploy his arsenal of islamic scholarship towards entrenching unity and peaceful coexistence in llorin Emirate and Kwara State at large.

This is contained in a Congratulatory Message to the appointee, endorsed by the Chairman of the Islamic body, Alhaji Abdullahi Nurudeen Adana and Secretary General, Mallam Sulaiman Ahmad in Ilorin.

It described him as a young erudite islamic cleric with rich credentials to steer the ship of Council of Ulama in the state.

IMAN tasked him to justify the confidence reposed in him as his announcement as the new Chief Imam of the ancient city of Ilorin was greeted with wide range of acceptance.

The Islamic Organization therefore applauded Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari for the meticulous and meritorious selection of the new Chief Imam.

IMAN also joined other eminent personalities and Islamic Organizations to congratulate the newly appointed Chief Imam of Shaikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki.

It prayed Allah for his sound health and long life to carry out the spiritual assignment in accordance with islamic jurisprudence.
