National League of Veteran Journalists( NALVEJ) in Kwara State, has mourned the passing of a former general manager of Radio Kwara, Dr Kajogbola Omolosho.
The league described the demise of Omolosho as a collosal loss not only to NALVEJ, but the media industry in general.
In a statement signed by its chairman, Alh Tunde Akanbi and publicity secretary,Alh Abdullahi Olesin, NALVEJ described the late veteran journalist and university lecturer as a great role model, who had nurtured many who have become successful journalists.
The league commiserated with the immediate family of the deceased, especially Mr Kehinde Omolosho of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and his siblings, the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II, the Offa Descendants Union (ODU) and the entire people of Offa over the demise of Omolosho.
It also commiserated with the founder of AlHikma University, Ilorin,Alh Raheem Oladimeji, the vice chancellor, management and staff of the university where the late Omolosho worked before his demise.
Omolosho died on Friday and has since being buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
The remains of the deceased were intered at the Muslim Cemetery, Osere area, Ilorin, immediately after the Jummah Service.
The fidau prayer for the repose of deceased’s soul will be held on Sunday at his residence at Tanke area, Ilorin.
The league prayed Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Aljanah Firdaus and comfort the bereaved.
