A Non Governmental Organization, Gadaff Future Care Foundation has reaffirmed its determination towards championing zero hunger globally inline with Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs of United Nations General Assembly.
This is enshrined in a statement by Director General of the Foundation, Mariam Kehinde Obalana and Secretary, Turawa Kamaldeen Olaitan in Ilorin preparatory to implementation of the SDGs goals for the benefit of masses.
They explained that the foundation is shouldering the responsibility of providing succor to the people in the society irrespective of gender, religion or ethnicity
Miss Kehinde Obalana and Turawa Kamaludeen announced that foundation would be kick-starting its activities with distribution of food stuffs in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State
According to them, itemized Rice, Garri, Semovita and other essential commodities expected to be distributed on Saturday(tomorrow )24th of this month in Ogbondoroko,Ajagusi, Alapa and Agbona towns
The Non-Governmental Organization is partnering the office of Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on SDGs, Hon. Mariam Nnafatima Imam towards realizing the set objectives of the foundation.
The foundation would be implementing the goals of SDGs including Good health, Quality education, Gender equality, Clean water and sanitation, Affordable and clean energy, Decent work and economic growth amongst others
They therefore, promised that the foundation would leave no stone unturned in responding to the yearnings and aspirations of the less privileged globally.
