JUST IN: Baba Kolo Jiya Resigns From APC

Distinguished Baba Kolo Jiya, widely known as Haske Patigi, has formally resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Patigi, Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The resignation was announced on Sunday in a public notice issued by the Haske Media Team.

The statement was addressed to the general public, supporters, friends, and well-wishers of the Patigi political leader.

According to the notice, the decision followed “careful consideration” and was taken in the best interest of his political future, his supporters, and the people he represents.

The media team said the move was necessary to realign with the values and aspirations that Jiya stands for.

Despite quitting the ruling party, Jiya reaffirmed his commitment to the ideals of good leadership, justice, accountability, peace, and meaningful development.

The statement stressed that his dedication to public service remains unchanged and that he will continue to pursue policies that benefit his constituency.

The Haske Media Team expressed gratitude to all those who have stood by Jiya throughout his political journey in the APC.

It acknowledged the loyalty and support of party members, associates, and community stakeholders who worked with him over the years.

Supporters were also urged to remain calm, united, and focused as consultations continue on the next phase of the political journey.

The team assured that further directives will be communicated in due course.
