Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria has extolled the values and virtues of Professor Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN as he celebrates his 70th Birthday.
In a Statement today to mark the occasion, the Media Group described Professor Yusuf Ali as an Icon in the Legal Profession, a great philanthropist, a Patriotic Nigerian and Outstanding Muslim Leader whose contribution of service to Amighty Allah and humanity in general is enormous.
The Statement is jointly signed by that National Coordinator of the Group Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim and the National Secretary Dr. Nasir Balogun.
the Muslim Media Watch Group declared that the Kuliyan Geri of Ilorin Emirate has contributed in no small measure to the emancipation of the people of Ilorin Emirate in particular, Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole.
The Group stated further that as its Chairman of Board of Trustees, the Media Group which is a Non-Governmental Organization has continued to contribute to National Development through its educative and enlightening programmes
The Islamic Organization pointed out that the Group is carrying out its activities via the Media through Professor Yusuf Ali’s sponsorship for more than a decade now and prayed to Almighty Allah to strengthen his life in sound health and abundant wealth to continue this enviable trajectory.
MMWG appealed to other well-to-do Professionals, Businessmen and Women to emulate Professor Ali’s kind gesture
It elucidated that spending one’s wealth in the way of God and service to humanity does not decrease the wealth but increase it in many folds as Allah’s blessing is always for those that are generous and caring for the people.
The Group specifically noted that Prof. Ali’s philanthropy especially in the area of education and health is not limited to the Muslims alone but spread to all irrespective of religious or ethnic persuasions
The Group stated that this is a practical way of demonstrating sincere affection for the people.
While thanking Almighty Allah for granting Prof. Yusuf Ali the opportunity to witness his 70th Birthday, the Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria, called on other reach Muslims in Nigeria to use their wealth to promote well-being of the people and sponsorship Islamic Media Da’wah.
The Group however advised them to be selective in doing so by choosing well knowledgeable Scholars of Islam with good character so as to deliver true message of Islam to the people and serve as ‘Model for the Righteous’.
