Islamic Missionaries Association of Nigeria, IMAN, has felicitated the 1st Kuliya Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate, Professor Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
The birthday celebration, held on Sunday, September 7th 2026, coincides with the Islamic month of Rabiul Awwal 1448 AH, the month of the birth of Prophet Muhammad, SAW.
In a congratulatory message signed by its National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Nurudeen, and National Secretary , Mallam Sulaiman Ahmad, IMAN described the milestone as worthy of special celebration.
The Association noted that while many organizations and individuals have celebrated the legal icon, its own felicitation comes with deep appreciation for his contributions to the body.
IMAN specifically highlighted Prof. Ali’s role as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Association, where he has spearheaded efforts towards the renovation of the organization’s auditorium.
According to the group, the legal luminary’s leadership and commitment have resulted in giant strides that will leave a lasting impact on the association and its members.
The Association said it will continue to appreciate the professor’s dedication to projects that promote the growth and sustainability of Islamic organizations in the country.
As celebrations continue, IMAN prayed to Allah SWT to grant Prof. Ali long life, sound health, and the grace to contribute even more to Islam and humanity.
The group also prayed that Allah accepts his contributions as acts of ibadah and rewards him abundantly both in this world and in the hereafter.
IMAN, in the message, joined other well-wishers to thank Allah for the life of Prof. Ali and to pray for more achievements, while extending its special regards to the celebrant.
