Delegates of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) have explored the latest developments in technology, Artificial Intelligence, telemedicine, as well as fashion products, machines and household materials at the 140th Canton Fair in Guangzhou, China.

The fair welcomes hundreds of thousands of exhibitors, manufacturers, companies and buyers from several countries of the world across its three phases.

Holding twice a year, NACCIMA has consistently mobilised representation for Nigeria at the international fair, leading delegates to experience new possibilities, uncover fresher business perspectives, and connect with global manufacturers to support local growth and development.

In collaboration with Trendsbridge Travels and Tours Limited, NACCIMA ensured Nigerian delegates participated in the third phase of the fair, which began October 31st and lasted till November 4th 2026.

The 140th Canton Fair featured a huge number of booths across designated areas. In one of them dedicated to Intelligent Medicine, exhibitors displayed how robots and AI are being incorporated into medical procedures to improve efficiency and precision.

Speaking on the sidelines of the fair, the National Public Relations Officer of NACCIMA, Mrs Madinat Adigun-Oladotun, reaffirmed the commitment of the Association to promoting platforms that encourage industry, commerce, and global partnerships for the Nigerian business community.

The National PRO said Nigeria can draw many insights from China, particularly in their organisation of the Canton Fair, which has stood the test of time and continues to expand annually.
