No fewer than Three Hundred and Twenty-Four students have been matriculated by International Vocational Technical and Entrepreneurship College, Ajase Ipo (IVTEC)
Speaking at the Thirteenth Matriculation Ceremony held at the College auditorium, Ajase Ipo, Irepodun Local Government Area of the State, Rector of the College, Doctor Yaru S. Salihu charged matricuting students to always obey the College rules and regulations as contradiction of any rule would attract stiff penalties including expulsion from the institution.
Doctor Yaru itemized seventh batch of the YEEGS beneficiaries, sixth batch of the Artisan Upskill Training, the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Skill Up Artisan Programme and direct Applicants as categories of the matriculating students
The Rector applauded Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq for his commitment to Education and Human Capital development particularly for his support to vulnerable Kwara Youths by approving the Youth Empowerment and Employment Generation Scheme
The Youth Empowerment and Employment Generation Scheme sponsored by the Kwara State Government is designed to train youths between the ages of Eighteen to Thirty-Five years in a first- level skills acquisition training in various trade areas
Students beneficiaries expressed profound gratitude to the State Government led by Governor Abdulrazaq for sponsoring them on various entrepreneurial and vocational skills to enable them become job creators
Highlight of the Matriculation Ceremony was administration of oath to the matricuting students by Registrar of the College, Mr Lateef Lawal
