The Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has paid last respect at the funeral service of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, at the National Christian Centre in Abuja.
The NGF Chairman described Taoreed Lagbaja as a true Nigerian whose remarkable dedication to the defence of the country’s sovereignty and unwavering commitment to peace and security cannot be forgotten.

The Governor had paid his last tribute to Lagbaja on Tuesday where he sympathized with his family, colleagues, and all the men and women of the Nigerian Army and prayed for the repose of his soul.
It would be recalled that Lt. Gen. Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja passed on Tuesday night, November 5, 2024, after a period of illness.
