In an effort to enhance the efficiency and performance of science students in a conducive learning environment, the North America Chapter of Our Lady’s Old Girls Association of Our Lady’s Girl’s High School, Modakeke, Osun State, has renovated and equipped the science laboratories of the school with modern facilities.
This, they said, is part of ways of giving back to society; the old student association kind gesture is towards uplifting and developing the academic environment, which has also brought joy to students and teachers of Our Lady’s Girl’s High School, Modakeke, Osun State.
Witnessing a historic and facelift effort from the North America chapter of the Old Students Association of the School for renovating and equipping the Chemistry, Physics, and Biology Laboratories of the School was a thing of joy to the entire community.
The Coordinator, North America, OLOGAFE Grace, and OLOGAFE Global President, Dr. Yetunde Akinluyi, maintained that the euphoria of the students was high for having a connection with the Old Girls Association that pulled resources worth 25 million Naira together to provide intervention in the science laboratories of the school, which has been in a deplorable state.
According to them, the provision of the science experimental tools for the students is to develop the valuable skills that would help them to be well versed in advanced science laboratoryequipment.,The North America chapter of Our Lady’s Old Girls Association notified that the association has been a cornerstone of connection and service to the school through various projects and will not relent in their effort with a call on the government to assist the citadel of learning in the areas beyond their capabilities.
In her appreciative mood, the Principal of the school, Omolola Oyeleye, and the students commended the association for the unwavering support for the growth of their Alma mater and promised to make use of the facility to boost the academic standard of the school.
The climax of the event was the presentation of awards to different categories of people who have been contributing their quota to the development of Our Lady’s Girl’s High School, Modakeke, Osun State.
