Development Officer Patigi Local Government, Kwara State, Hon. Fatimah Asabe Jiyah, has assured that the ongoing reconstruction of Patigi Regatta Motel by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq would create job opportunities when completed.
Hon. Jiyah stated this during her visit to the construction site to see the level of work on the project
According to her, the reconstruction of the Motel is one of the numerous projects embarked on by the Governor AbdulRazaq-led administration within the Local Government.
The DO noted that the new structures inside the remodelling Regatta Motel, located along Kpada Road in Patigi, include rooms, VIP suites, a conference hall, shops and many more.
Hon Jiyah maintained that the aim of the State Government in remodelling and rehabilitating the existing structures is to expand tourism and recreation, generate direct jobs, and improve the revenue generation drive of the state.
