BREAKING: Emir Of Ilorin Declares Tomorrow, Sunday Eid-el-Fitr

Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari has declared tomorrow Sunday 30th March 2025 Eid-el-Fitr celebration
This is contained in a statement by his Spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona in Ilorin.
Alhaji Zulu-Gambari said he consulted the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammadu Saad Abubakar CFR, the Shehu of Borno, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Umar Ibn Garbai Ibn El-Kanemi and other prominent traditional rulers across the country for their position on the moon sighting
He noted that this followed the sighting of new crescent of Shawwal 1446 marking the completion of the glorious month of Ramadan.
The Emir explained that he has been given directive by His Eminence, Sultan Muhammadu Saad Abubakar to affirm that 2025 Eid-el-Fitr will hold tomorrow Sunday 30th March 2025.
Alhaji Zulu-Gambari prayed Almighty Allah grant Muslims all the benefits of the glorious month of Ramadan and give them the opportunity to celebrate sallah in peace, unity and harmony.
The Emir however urged Muslim Ummah to celebrate the Eid-El-Fitri with caution and extend charity to the less privileged in the society.
