NALVEJ Mourns Ex- NUJ National Scribe, Pa Ogunlusi

National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ) in Kwara State has mourned the demise of the former national secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Pa Jola Ogunlusi.
Pa Ogunlusi, a veteran journalist died on Saturday, 19th April, 2025 at the age of 91.
Kwara NALVEJ in a statement signed by its chairman, Alh Tunde Akanbi and publicity secretary, Alh Abdullahi Olesin described Ogunlusi as one of the founding fathers of the NUJ who toiled to make the union vibrant.
It commended the enormous contributions of Pa Ogunlusi to the growth and development of the NUJ.
Describing the deceased as an astute administrator and a disciplinarian, the league said his services to both the NUJ and NALVEJ will be sorely missed.
It commiserated with both the immediate and extended family of the Ogunlusi, the leadership of the NUJ and NALVEJ over the passing of Ogunlusi.
The league prayed God to comfort the family that the deceased left behind and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
