Kwara Garment Factory To Partner Durbar Festival For Successful Event

Kwara Garment factory, Ilorin has promised to partner Ilorin Emirate Durbar in ensuring a successful 2025 programme holding on the third day of Ileya Festival.
Managing Director of the factory, Hajia Bukola Adedeji gave the promise today when she led her team to pay an official visit a the committee members at the Secretariat of the Committee at Emir’s Palace.
She expressed satisfaction with the programmes and arrangements already put in place by the durbar festival committee so far since it was inaugurated by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari.
According to her, the festival would further show case the products of the factory not only to the people of the state but to Nigerians and the entire universe.
She further disclosed that the factory would come along with their products on the day of the festival stressing that the factory has provided employment opportunities to the people of the state.
Responding, the Chairman of Ilorin Emirate Durbar Committee, Engineer Yahaya Alapansapa, the Danmasani of Ilorin described their visit as timely and expressed the hope that it would further promote the festival to greater heights.
According to him, the festival has continued to promote the culture and economy of the state.
Engineer Alapansapa noted that the visit of the management of the factory has clearly shown that the state government is fully in support of the festival .
He disclosed that all arrangements are in top gear to ensure a hitch free event.
A group of students from Kwara State University, KWASU, Malete also paid a visit to the committee where they were further briefed about the culture, heritage and the tradition of Ilorin Emirate.
The festival is slated to hold on the third day of Ileya Festival at the forecourt of the Emir’s Palace.
