Mallam Mogaji Expresses Grief Over Fatal Mishap Involving Kano Contingent Returning From National Sports Festival In Ogun

Kwara State Sports Commission has expressed grief over fatal mishap involving members of Kano State Contingent returning from the just concluded 22nd National Sports Festival in Ogun State tagged “Gateway Games 2024”.
This is contained in a condolence message by the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, in Ilorin
Mallam Mogaji specifically mourned the 21 athletes who lost their lives in the tragic incident.
According him, the bus conveying the last continent involved in the accident about 50 kilometers to their destination and claimed 21 lives out of 35 on board
The Executive Chairman described the demise of the determined gallant Kano State athletes as a colossal loss to Kano State and the entire sport world.
Mallam Mogaji therefore commiserated with the families, government people of Kano State and prayed God to repose the souls of the departed.
