Provost, Kwara College Health Technology, Offa, Alhaji Jimoh Ibrahim has given out his precious daughter Misturah to Abdulsamad Abdulrazaq who tied the knot today to officially become husband and wife in Ilorin, Kwara State Capital.
The Nikkah and solemnization of the holy matrimony of the new couple was led the Imam of Popo Igbonna Mosque, Shaikh Saka Saadu-Tanmawo following payment of the bride prize of one hundred thousand naira.
Shaikh Saadu-Tanmawo prayed Allah to protect their marriage against disintegration and tasked the couple to be guided by islamic principles in their matrimonial voyage.
In his Lecture, Doctor Muhammad Jamiu Dansuki of the Department of Islamic Studies, Kwara State University, Malete urged the wife to be submissive to her husband and disregard third party.
Doctor Dansuki also charged the husband not to shy away from his responsibilities for their marriage to stand a test of time.
He admonished the couple to uphold the spirit of patience, perseverance and trust to succeed in their marital engagement.
In his remark, Chairman of the occasion, Engineer Mumeen Issa-Olokunmbi beseeched the newest couple to always understand each other and avoid actions capable of undermining their marriage

The wedding guest was entertained by popular Islamic Music Star, Aminat Ajao popularly referred to as Obirere
The Wedding ceremony was graced by eminent personalities including Kwara State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hajia Saadatu Madibbo-Kawu, Clerk, Kwara State House of Assembly, Alhaji Abdulkareem Olayiwola Ahmed, Former Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, staff members, Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa and members of Community Health Practitioners.
Others were Head of Department, Health Promotion and Environmental Health Education, University of Ilorin, Prof S.O Oniyangi,Registrar, Kwara College of Aviation, Alhaja S.T Wopa and Heads of State Owned Tertiary Institutions.
