Ilorin-based Frontline Islamic Preacher, Imam Ariyibi Hamzah has tasked parents and guardians not to neglect their children to secure their precious future.
Imam Hamzah dropped this hint while delivering a lecture at the Wolimatul-Qur’an of the bride, Misturah Ibrahim held at Popo Igbonna Mosque, Ilorin.
He also reminded parents of accounting for how they take care of their children wether positively or negatively in the sight of Allah
The Islamic Cleric bemoaned increasing wave of moral decadence among the youth in the society and attributed such to poor parenting.
He described bride’s father, Alhaji Jimoh Ibrahim as a complete gentleman, generous to everyone that comes his way.
Presiding over reading of the Qur’an for the bride, the Imam Popo Igbonna Mosque, Alhaji Saka Saadu-Tanmawo identified Qur’an as a devine message from Allah to all mankind that must be strictly adhered to.
Alhaji Saadu-Tanmawo encouraged the bride not to neglect the scripture and always recite it all the time to earn Allah’s mercy in all her undertakings.
The Wolimatul-Qur’an was laced with recitation of Qur’an by the bride to demonstrate her knowledge of the scripture to the admiration of the guests.
The Wolimatul-Qur’an was attended within and outside the state.
