NDE Osun Kicks-Off  Training For 2nd Phase Of RHEI Under Special Public Works Department

National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Osun State, having flagged off the second phase of the Renewed Hope Empowerment Initiative (RHEI), commenced orientation and training under its Special Public Works (SPW) Department, with a commitment to creating jobs, empowering youths and women, and promoting inclusive economic growth.
The programme, held in Osun State, began with the opening prayer, national anthem, and the introduction of guests, including the State Coordinator, Mr. Olarewaju Abiodun Oladele, and other management staff of the Directorate.
Delivering the keynote address on behalf of the Director General, Mr. Silas Ali Agara, Mr. Oladele emphasized the broader goals of the initiative.
According to him, the second phase of the RHEI is meant to create sustainable job opportunities and to empower Nigerians, especially the youths and women, through skill development, entrepreneurship support and access to meaningful employment.
Mr Oladele explained that the initiative is rooted in the belief that inclusive economic growth begins with dignified work, and it seeks to unlock the potential of our people by bridging the gap between talent and opportunity.
He said that the Directorate is well-prepared to deliver its mandate as NDE  known for its proactive service delivery measures, is fully committed with the hand of professionalism to ensure the realization of is management and administrative goals.
In his goodwill address, the Head of Department, Mr. Adefioye Adewale, urged participants to take the training seriously and admonished all participants to be of good conduct and ensure that they acquire the necessary skills geared towards self-reliance and creating a means of livelihood in the nearest future.
The official flag-off of the orientation and training ceremony was then performed by the State Coordinator, Mr. Abiodu.
The programmes implemented under the SPW department include the Solar Energy Training Scheme (SETS), Graduate Attachment Programme (GAP), Artisans in Collaborative Construction Empowerment Scheme (ACCES), and the Environmental Beautification Scheme (EBS).
