Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has mocked the ongoing convention of the Peoples Democratic Party taking place in Ibadan, Oyo State.
In a post shared on his X handle today, Olayinka described the gathering as “Dirty December in November.”
Olayinka’s reaction followed the decision reportedly reached by delegates at the convention to expel his principal, Nyesom Wike, former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, PDP National Secretary, Senator Sam Anyanwu, and the party’s Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade.
Olayinka further described the convention as a social party and alleged that the intoxicated delegates were merely making baseless proclamations.
It was that over 3,000 delegates are currently attending the party’s National Convention in Ibadan, scheduled for November 15 and 16, 2025, despite court orders stopping the exercise.
