The Founder of KAB Construction Limited and Chairman of the KAB Foundation, Dr. Kehinde Alex Bankole, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the revered Islamic scholar and Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh (Dr.) Muhammad Bashir Salihu, OON.
Dr. Bankole who is also a leading aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for the Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency made this known in condolence message personally signed him.
He described the late cleric’s death as a personal loss as Sheikh Salihu was a source of wise counsel, moral guidance, and spiritual support throughout his political journey.
The Politician explained that the Imam’s prayers and advice were a constant blessing to him.
He further extolled the late Imam as a distinguished scholar, peace builder, and father figure to all, whose life was wholly dedicated to the service of Islam, humanity, and the unity of the Ilorin Emirate.
According to him, the demise of Sheikh (Dr.) Muhammad Bashir Salihu is not only a great loss to the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State, but also to the Muslim Ummah and the entire nation, Nigeria, as a whole.

He prayed that Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him Al-Jannah Firdaus, and gives his family, the Emirate, and the entire Ummah the fortitude to bear the loss.
