Kwara State Commissioner for Social Development, Hajia Mariam-Nnafatima Imam, has inspected the newly renovated Amoyo Rehabilitation Centre in the state.
The Commissioner, who visited the facility alongside top officials of the Ministry, expressed satisfaction with the quality of work carried out, commending Muluda Nigeria Limited for delivering a timely and professional renovation.
Hajia Mariam-Nnafatima said the rehabilitation of the centre reflects the people-focused agenda of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, aimed at improving the welfare, protection, and inclusion of vulnerable groups across the state.
She reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to maintaining functional, safe, and conducive social welfare institutions, adding that continuous monitoring will be carried out to ensure sustainability and effective service delivery.
The Amoyo Rehabilitation Centre was damaged by a fire outbreak on February eighteenth, twenty-twenty-five, prompting the comprehensive renovation.
The inspection highlights the Kwara State Government’s ongoing efforts to restore critical social welfare infrastructure and strengthen the state’s social protection system.
