NACHPN Stakeholders Meeting: National VP visits Kwara as Ex President, Alhaji Bolaji tasks practitioners on professionalism, unity

Former National President, National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria,NACHPN, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Bolaji has tasked practitioners to eschew actions capable of denigrating the profession

Alhaji Bolaji dropped this hint in the stakeholders meeting with National Vice President of Association, Comrade Muhammad Isiaka-Musa who is on a tour to the state and other State Administrative Council Members in Idofian, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State

He chronicled the historical development of the profession and acknowledged individuals who contributed tremendously to professionalization of Community Health practice

The Former President encouraged practitioners to be loyal to their superiors and always hold Zonal meeting for crossvertelization of ideas on how to move Community Health profession forward

Alhaji Bolaji therefore, enjoined members to be united, love one another and applauded National Vice President,National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria, North Central for visiting Kwara State

In his remarks, National Vice President of the association, Comrade Muhammad Isiaka-Musa said the purpose of touring the North Central states is to ascertain if state Executives are upholding standards inline with professional ethics

Comrade Isiaka-Musa noted that Kwara State is the third state after visiting Nasarawa and Plateau with a view to proffering solutions to identified challenges

He scored National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria, Kwara State Chapter higher for its deligence in administering the Association for the benefits of members

Also Speaking, Former Registrar, Community Health Registration Board of Nigeria, Alhaji Adebayo Muhammed stressed the need for the association to always render assistance to potential Community Health Practitioners to guide them aright

Alhaji Adebayo also advocated perpetual enlightenment Programmes for Community Health students to encourage them to always accept job offers in rural areas where their services are most needed

Former Chairman in the state, Alhaji Adamu Mustapha x-rayed the role of Kwara State Chapter in the formation of the association and described the state as unique in Community Health practice.

In his reaction, Former State Public Relations Officer, Mr Babatunde Asanlu welcomed National Vice President to the State of Harmony and urged him to amplify the challenges of Kwara State Chapter of the National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria to the National Secretariat

A Stakeholder in the State, Mrs
Comfort Remilekun Olatoke thanked the National Vice President for visiting Kwara State and on called him to always draw the state chapter attention to areas of improvement when the need arises

At the stakeholders meeting in Idofian were First Vice Chairman of the association in the State, Mallam Abdulganiyu Yusuf, State Secretary, Alhaji Jimoh Ibrahim Administrative Secretary, Comrade Abdullahi Oladimeji Dauda and others
