All hail the New Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate*.

Today ,29th August,2024 Emir of Ilorin Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari conferred the title of Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate on His Excellency, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq at his palace in Ilorin. It is a good news because he deserves it.
Those who are conversant with political and economic development of Kwara state will attest to the fact that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has raised the bar for good governance in Kwara State . Since he came onboard he has been doing well in all sectors of the state.
I am joyous because the royal father has indeed rewarded a workaholic Governor, who has been consistent in the development of the state, apart from regular payment of Workers salary, which had eluded the state civil servants in the previous administration. Move around the metropolis of Ilorin and you will see how the Governor has turned the city to a construction site.
Most importantly,the way I was happy that day Emir of Ilorin turbaned my political principal, Senator Saliu Mustapha as the Turaki of Ilorin is the same way I’m feeling today for his Excellency. When you give traditional title to those who have made appreciable impact on the lives of the people then you are invariably contributing to the growth of humanity. Our Emir is exceptional when it comes to conferring traditional title to illustrious sons and daughters of Ilorin Emirate who have distinguished themselves beyond the shores of Kwara state.
I pray Allah continue to guide his Excellency so that he would continue to do more for the development of Ilorin Emirate, Kwara state and Nigeria. I also pray Allah grant Mai Martaba Sarki Ilori, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari good health and guidance in the service to Islam,Ilorin Emirate,and humanity.
