BREAKING: Fire Claims Lives Of Sokoto SSG’s Daughter, Grandchildren

A devastating fire today claimed the lives of the daughter and three grandchildren of Sokoto State’s Secretary to the Government, Alhaji Muhammadu Bello Sifawa.
The deceased who was married to Alhaji Muhammadu Yusuf Bello, the Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Sports and Youth Development, was trapped with her children when the fire broke out while they were asleep.
Only her husband survived the incident.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation as the Sokoto State Fire Service worked for hours to extinguish the flames.
The remains of the victims are scheduled to be buried at the Sheikh Shehu Usmanu Danfodiyo Mosque Sifawa later today.
The tragedy has prompted an outpouring of sympathy, with the Deputy Governor, Engineer Idris Mohammed Gobir, members of the State Executive Council, APC leaders, and numerous friends and well-wishers arriving in Sifawa to offer their condolences and support to the bereaved family.
