Farmer Governor Bago Directs N80,000 Monthly Pay To Casual Staff in Niger State General Hospitals, Gives Automatic Employment To Degree Holders Among Them

Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has directed that all casual staff working in all the General Hospitals across the State should be paid N80,000 as monthly pay.
The Farmer Governor gave the directive when he addressed some aggrieved casual workers from the Minna General Hospital, who were at the Government House Minna.
He said the decision became imperative to ensure that casual workers are paid in line with the approved Minimum Wage in the State as all of them cannot be absorbed into the State Civil Service.
The farmer Governor also directed that those who have served as Casual staff for the past 10 to 15 years with Degree qualification have been captured for automatic appointments while those with Diploma certificates should be given appointments on probation, as they are expected to upgrade their certificates within the period of three years.
Famer Governor Bago reassured the people of his administration’s commitment to the wellbeing of the people of the State.
