In commemoration of 2025 Legal Year celebration, Kwara State Ministry of Justice has emerged victorious in a thrilling novelty match against her counterpart, the State Judiciary.
The match, which held at the open field of St. Joseph College, Ilorin, was aimed to promote love, unity and sportsmanship amongst the staff of the Ministry and the State Judiciary.
The Ministry’s team was led by the Attorney General and Commissioner, Senior Ibrahim Sulyman Esq while the State Judiciary’s team was led by the Hon. Chief Judge of Kwara State, Abiodun Ayodele Adebara CJ, as the two teams locked horn at the kickoff time – 3:30pm, where the Ministry emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over its counterpart, the Kwara State Judiciary.
Meanwhile, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Senior Ibrahim Sulyman Esq, expressed his delight for the victory.
He commended the high level of composure and fun fair play showcased by all the players and the spectators alike.
The Commissioner said the game has a recreational value for the players, as it served to maintain good health and stamina, while encouraging them to always keep fit in order to ensure mental alertness, thus, helping to discharge their judicial responsibilities accordingly.
