Ilorin-based Islamic Scholar, Engineer Yasar Remilekun has counseled intending pilgrims to this year’s Hajj not to allow their sacrifices, expenses, and bodily exertions efforts to be a waste by performing all the Hajj Rites correctly with the intention of worshiping Allah alone.
Engineer Remilekun gave the counsel today while delivering a Jummua’ah Khutubah titled “Preparing for Holy Pilgrimage In Islam” at Al-Hilal Islamic Crescent Centre Central Mosque, Ilorin
He tasked them to be dutiful to Allah inline with Islamic Jurisprudence by performing the five cardinal activities of Hajj including: Ihram, Tawaf, Sa’i, Arafa, and throwing of pebbles.
According to him, it is incumbent on any one preparing for hajj to go and learn the rites of hajj to achieve desired results of Hajj Mabroor.
The Islamic Cleric identified Financial capacity, physical health and safety as major factors to be considered before embarking on the spiritual voyage
He saluted the prospective pilgrims on their preparation for the pilgrimage to the holy land as the fifth pillar of Islam.
Engineer Remilekun urged whoever in position to go on Hajj to endeavour to do so now before it becomes more difficult for them.
