Senior Special Assistant to the Kwara State Governor, Hon. Fafoluyi Olayinka Michael (aka Solace), has been installed as the Akeweje of Aran-Orin Land.
The prestigious title was conferred upon him by His Royal Majesty, Oba Joseph Oyeyipo Babalola, the Alaran of Aran-Orin today at the town’s primary school playing ground.
Oba Joseph Oyeyipo Babalola expressed gratitude to Hon. Fafoluyi for his dedication to the town’s development, evident in the various projects he has spearheaded.
The Monarch charged the newly installed Akeweje to continue his philanthropic endeavors, benefiting both the community and humanity at large.
The Olomu of Omu-Aran, Ọba Abdulraheem Oladele Adeoti, also commended Hon. Fafoluyi, attributing his appointment by the Kwara State Governor to his exemplary attitude.
The monarch urged him to sustain his good deeds.
Highlights of the event were the commissioning borehole, providing portable water for the community, the unveiling of 32 poles of solar-powered streetlights and launching of the foundation for a multimillion-naira AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Corpers’ Lodge, Aran-Orin.
Present at the occasion are the Kwara State House of Assembly lawmakers, Executive Chairmen, traditional rulers, Commissioners, politicians, nollywood stars and other well meaning Nigerians.
