A Thanksgiving has been held to celebrate successful completion of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree in Sociology by Dr Fakayode, Toluse Elizabeth from University of Ado-Ekiti.
The Thanksgiving which took place at Fayoke Event Centre, Pipeline road, Ilorin also witnessed a book launch titled “Family First: Building Stronger Homes For Better Society” authored by the PhD graduand.
In her Address, Dr. Fakayode expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for the strength and wisdom to complete her PhD journey, while also unveiling her latest book.
She returned all glory to God for achieving the feats possible as the academic voyage was filled with sacrifice.
The author pointed out the PhD attainment and book launch are proof that hard work, faith, and determination truly pay.
Guests at the event commended her dedication to education and described her as an inspiration to women, scholars, and the younger generation.

The newly published book was reviewed by Professor of Sociology, Steve Metiboba of Federal University Lokoja
