ATM Advocates Rekindled Efforts To Curb Menace Of Sexual AbuseĀ

Civil Society in Malaria Control, Immunization and Nutrition (ACOMIN), TB Network, and Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (ATM) has called on Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) to step up efforts in addressing the rising menace of sexual abuse in the society.
Speaking at the Gender-Based Violence Review Meeting, ACOMIN Coordinator, Mr. Femi Olatunbosun, expressed concern over the alarming increase in reported cases of sexual abuse and the continuous violation of rights.
Mr. Olatunbosun also appealed to CBOs to ensure proper documentation of cases and interventions, noting that accurate records are crucial in driving advocacy and ensuring accountability.
In his remarks, the State Programme Officer, Mr. Robert Okpara, charged program officers to always put in their best efforts, stressing that commitment and dedication are key to achieving meaningful impact.
