Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, Alhaji Umar Aiyelabegan.
In a condolence message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the Governor described Aiyelabegan’s passing as a huge loss to the APC family and the Ilorin Emirate, where the deceased was a respected community leader and notable politician.
Governor AbdulRazaq paid tribute to the late party stalwart, describing him as “a man of great intellect, courage, and wisdom.”
He extended heartfelt condolences to Aiyelabegan’s family and the entire APC in the state, praying to Allah to forgive the deceased and grant him Al-jannah Firdaus.
The Governor also prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude.
