Kwara Kiddies YEG League is to conclude its 2025 season on Sunday, December 14, with the Season IV Grand Finale scheduled for the Kwara Football Academy (KFA) Pitch in Ilorin.
According to a statement by the Organizing Committee, the event will kick off at 3:00 p.m. and will mark the culmination of months of grassroots football activities involving young talents from across the state.
In its fourth season, the Kwara Kiddies League has cemented its status as one of Kwara State’s flagship child-focused football development programmes.
The initiative is designed to discover and nurture budding talents while promoting teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship among participating children.
The Organizing Committee said this year’s finale is expected to be the most vibrant yet, featuring final-day matches, kiddies’ games, funfair activities, entertainment and an awards ceremony to recognise outstanding players, coaches and participating academies.
Super Eagles forward and Chairman of Kwara Kiddies League Ltd, Taiwo Awoniyi, will serve as Host; Chairman of the Kwara State Football Association, Idris Abdullahi Musa, will act as Chief Host; while Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, will be the Father of the Day.
It explained that the league has continued to surpass expectations in grassroots talent discovery and development, adding that the Grand Finale will celebrate the dreams, passion and resilience of the young athletes who featured this season.
The Committee also invited football lovers, schools, academies, families and the general public to attend the event and support the children.
