Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, has reaffirmed his commitment to the growth of the sports sector in the state.
Coach Mogaji dropped this hint on the occasion of six years of transformative contribution by Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to the sports ecosystem, organized by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara State Chapter.
Represented by the Commission Secretary, Mr Haruna Tsado, the Executive Chairman said Governor Abdulrazaq’s posture towards the sports sector has boosted the state on the international stage.
The Sports Administrator explained that beyond the wins and achievements, the Governor has built a community that values sports as a tool for personal growth and national pride.
He pledged the Governor’s administration’s determination to continue investing in the youth, supporting athletes, and driving innovation in sports development.
Coach Mogaji posited that over the past six years, the state has recorded significant strides in athlete development, infrastructure growth, and community engagement.
The Executive Chairman stated that the state has nurtured talent, fostered inclusivity, and promoted sports as a catalyst for social change.
He appreciated the efforts of the Kwara State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) in publicizing sports activities in the state.
