The Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (ACHPN), Kwara State Chapter has condoled its Zonal Technical Officer North Central (ZTO), Hajia Mariam Bashir Imam Fulani over the passing of her Patriarch, Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad Bashir Soliu (OON).
In a Condolence Message by the professional body in llorin described Dr. Muhammad Bashir Solihu as a highly respected Islamic scholar and revered spiritual leader who served the Ilorin Emirate and the Muslim Ummah with unwavering dedication for several decades.
It pointed out that throughout his lifetime, he provided profound religious guidance and moral leadership, earning respect and admiration within and beyond Ilorin.
ACHPN maintained that the influence of the late Chief Imam extended far beyond the Emirate, as having contributed significantly to religious enlightenment, peaceful coexistence, and community development across Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
The Community Practitioners noted that the late Chief Imam’s commitment to the teachings of Islam, humility in leadership, and devotion to the welfare of the people will remain a lasting legacy for generations to come.
The Association commiserated with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON); His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari (CFR), the Emir of Ilorin, ; the Baloguns; the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU); and the entire family and the Muslim Ummah on this monumental loss.
ACHPN prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, accept his righteous deeds, and grants him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
It also prayed Allah to grant the family, the Ilorin Emirate, and the Muslim Ummah the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss.
