Remains Of Ex NAHCON Official, Prof. Badmas Interred Amidst Mammoth Crowd

The remains of one-time National Commissioner in charge of Operations, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON, Abuja, Professor Yusuf Lanre-Badmas today interred amidst mammoth crowd at Maimsa quarters Ojagboro, Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The late Professor of Islamic Studies, University of Ilorin was buried according to Islamic injunctions.
The Janazah prayer was presided over by Imam Imale of Ilorin, Shaikh Abdullahi Abdul-Hameed.
Shaikh Abdul-Hameed prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and supplicated to Allah to overlook his shortcomings.
Eminent personalities converged on Maimsa quarters to pay their last respect for the late scholar of Islamic Studies.
Among the early callers were, National President Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, NACCIMA National President, Alhaji Jani Ibrahim, Director General, National Institute of Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS, Professor Abubakar Sulyman.
Others were Vice Chancellor, University of Ilorin, Professor Abdulwahab Olasupo-Egbewole, Ilorin based Legal Luminary, Professor Yusuf Ola Olu Ali and National Mosque Imam, Shaikh Abdulquadir Sholagberu among others.
Until his demise, late Professor Yusuf Lanre-Badmas was Former Secretary National Hajj Committee, Chairman, Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Provost, Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies, CAILS, Dean Post Graduate School, University of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Hijrah Islamic Organization.
