Senator representing Kwara North in the National Assembly, Sadiq Sulaiman Umar, has vowed to intensify fight against insecurity in parts of Kwara State.
Umar gave the assurance while responding to questions on Television Continental (TVC) programme “Politics Tonight”.
He assured that joint planning and mobilization would carry the fight to the terrorists in Kwara North and parts of the state.
According to him, efforts are being intensified by Military, Air Force, Police and Local Vigilantes to get rid of the enemies of the state.
He maintained that there is a strong collaboration among Federal, state governments, community leaders and traditional institutions toward nipping the insecurity in the bud.
The Senator asserted that government was listening to the concerns of the affected locals to ensure their communities are secured.
Umar noted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq are passionate about addressing security challenges in the state.
The lawmaker stated that he is personally working with the Governor and security agencies for collaboration and coordination to prevail over the forces of darkness.
