Khadi, Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, Justice Abdulraheem Ahmad Shayi has attributed the prevailing insecurity in Nigeria to extreme comatose of Social Justice.
Justice Shayi stated this while delivering a Lecture on the topic ” Social Justice: An Effective Means Of Achieving Peaceful Coexistence: Islamic Point Of View” at the ongoing Ramadan Lecture Series organized by Islamic Missionaries Association of Nigeria IMAN in Ilorin.
He noted that unabated flaunting of wealth by irresponsible leaders is fueling banditry and kidnapping in the land.
The Khadi observed that racism and discriminatory comments are capable of disrupting peaceful coexistence.
The Jurist maintained that no nation would progress where miscarriage of justice thrives as unrest in the global community is a result of injustice.

Justice Shayi challenged those in positions of authority to entrench true dispensation of justice no matter whose ox is gored to restore sanity in Nigeria.
The Khadi tasked the participants to bequeath sound moral values on their children and wards to enable them become responsible citizens of the Country.
In his remark, Chairman of the Occasion, Alhaji Kayode Lakadri, cautioned Nigerian leaders against selective dispensation of justice to redeem the image of Nigeria.
Alhaji Lakadri who is Former Chairman, Asa Local Government Area of Kwara, applauded the Guest Speaker for his dynamism in tackling the topic and described the lecture as an eye-opener.
