As part of its 2026 start-up activities under the Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) project, the Civil Society in Malaria Control, Immunization and Nutrition (ACOMIN) held a strategic meeting with the Director of Planning, Research and Statistics of the Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWSPHCDA).
The meeting was aimed at formally notifying the Agency of the commencement of 2026 project activities and strengthening collaboration for the new implementation year.
During the engagement, ACOMIN State Coordinator, Mr. Femi Olatunbosun, reiterated ACOMIN’s mission of promoting improved healthcare services at the grassroots level through community engagement, advocacy, and monitoring.
He officially informed the Agency of the kick-off of 2026 CLM activities and reaffirmed ACOMIN’s commitment to working closely with relevant stakeholders to enhance service delivery across primary healthcare facilities.
In his response, the Director of Planning, Research and Statistics Mr Ayo A. Abdulazeez, appreciated ACOMIN for its consistent efforts toward improving healthcare outcomes at the community level.
He commended the organization’s role in strengthening accountability and service delivery within primary healthcare facilities.
The Agency further pledged to involve ACOMIN in its 2026 planning processes and activities, emphasizing the importance of sustained collaboration in achieving improved health outcomes across the state.
