An Islamic Scholar, Shaikh Ismail Ibrahim Al-Kuwarawiy has urged Muslims to uphold the value for life as one of the fundamental principles of Islam.
Shaikh Al-Kuwarawiy dropped this hint today while delivering a Lecture at the Annual 12th Halqotul- Qur’an and Lecture.
The occasion was organized by Association of Students Ma’adul-Katibi Al-Adabbiy in collaboration with the Management of Ma’adul-Katibi Al-Adabbiy Institute For Qur’an Memorization and Arabic Sciences Ilorin.
Dwellimg on the topic” Preservation of Life and National Security in light of the Quran” the Islamic Cleric described indiscriminate elimination lives is capable of attracting stiffer penalty in the sight of Allah.
He berated the spate of insecurity in all parts of the Nation particularly the unabated banditry and kidnapping.
Shaikh Al-Kuwarawiy therefore charged those in positions of authority to be more proactive in protecting the lives and property to restore peace and tranquility in the land.
The Islamic Scholar applauded the Proprietor of Ma’adul-Katibi Al-Adabbiy Institute of Qur’an Memorization and Arabic Sciences, Doctor Saheed Ahmad Katibi imparting Islamic knowledge on the teeming youth.
In his Remarks, the Ameer, Dr Musa Muhammad Rabiu said the 12th edition of the Qur’an recitation exhibition which started from suratul Baqorah upward is aimed at entrenching retentive memory of the reciters.
Highpoint of the event was a marathon Qur’an recitation by the Guest Reciters.
