KTM Foundation Applauds Mrs Shuaib’s Nursing Council Board Appointment

Khadijat Toyin Musah Foundation (KTM Foundation) has applauded the appointment of its Medical Outreach Supervisor, Mrs. Khadijat Ohunene Shuaib as one of 21 Board Members of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN ) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Mrs Shuaib was today inaugurated alongside 20 others as NMCN Board Members by the Minister for Health and Social Welfare in Abuja to usher in a new phase of leadership for the Country’s Nursing and Midwifery Regulatory Body.

The Founder of the KTM Foundation, Professor Khadijat Toyin Musah in a statement identified Mrs. Khadijat Ohunene Shuaib’s appointment as a testament to her unwavering dedication and commitment to the Nursing profession.

The First Professor of Nursing Sciences Federal University Otuoke Bayelsa State, also described the KTM Foundation Outreach Supervisor a brilliant professional with impeccable character.

The Foundation strongly believes that the appointee would be of great asset to the Council as a regulatory body for the Nursing Profession in Nigeria in view of her rich professional credentials.

The Don felicitated with Mrs Khadijat Ohunene Shuaib on her appointment and urged her to rekindle her efforts towards strengthening the Nursing Professional Calling in Nigeria.

She commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for considering her worthy of the appointment and prayed Allah to give her knowledge and wisdom to contribute her quota to the success to growth of the Council.
