National Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Mrs Madinat Adigun-Oladotun, has been honoured with the Distinguished Communication Award by The Press Society (TPS).
TPS presented the award to Mrs Adigun-Oladotun at its maiden media sensitisation workshop and awards ceremony held in Lagos on Thursday under the theme ‘Balancing Creativity and Ethics in the Era of Artificial Intelligence’.
The award is a tribute to Mrs Adigun-Oladotun’s professionalism, excellence in business communication, advocacy and stakeholder management, as well as her mentorship for young people in the media and communications industry.
Apart from serving as the National PRO of NACCIMA, Mrs Adigun-Oladotun is the Managing Director of Trendsville Media Limited, a leading communication and branding firm with offices in Abuja, Lagos and Ilorin.
She is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), holding key leadership positions in various professional associations at different times.
With her stewardship in NACCIMA as National PRO, the elite association has gained better visibility and prominence in the media for its activities, advocacies, local and international trade missions and partnerships.
Receiving the award on behalf of Mrs Adigun-Oladotun was one of her mentees, an event host and TV presenter, Ms Aramide Ogunkoya.
She expressed Mrs Adigun-Oladotun’s gratitude to the organisers and noted that the award is a motivation for her to give stronger commitment to the media and stakeholders management as well as service to humanity.
