Legal Luminary and APC Stalwart, Barrister Debo Aderibigbe has applauded the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his prompt approval and the commencement of palliative work on five kilometers Erin-Ile-Osun border road to provide relief for Commuters and the Community.
Barrister Aderibigbe in a statement he personally signed, on behalf of Kwara Advancement Forum, expressed gratitude that the Kwara State Ministry of Works has measured a significant portion of the road last week.
The APC Stalwart also appreciated the Governor as efforts are ongoing towards securing the final approval and reconstruction of a section of the federal road.
He stated that the prompt response was an indication that we have a responsible and responsive government at the State and Federal levels who take the plight of the citizenry as priority and provide immediate succour in tandem with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Barrister Aderibigbe added that the commencement of work on the road would provide relief to the people of Erin-Ile Community and Commuters who spent more than forty five minutes while plying the road.
The Legal Luminary highlighted the importance of the Federal highway to economic growth, inter- communal relationships and ease of transportation from the Southern part of the Country to the Northern part.
Barrister Aderibigbe also urged the Kwara State government not to forget the eight kilometers Igosun/Offa single lane road in view of its economic values to the people of the areas.
He stressed that the bad state of the roads had drastically reduced economic activities and posed serious security threats to the people along the axis.
The APC Stalwart appreciated the people of the Communities for their patience and understanding with the present administration both at the State and the Federal levels in their resolve to provide the dividends of democracy to the populace.
